AIZAWL: At least four people, including an 11-year-old boy, lost their lives after a tragic road accident in Mizoram’s Lunglei district.

The incident took place when a van, in which they were travelling, fell into a ravine in Mizoram’s Lunglei district on Sunday.

All the four occupants of the vehicle were heading towards their village from the capital of Mizoram – Aizawl.

The vehicle skidded off the road and fell into the ravine near Thingfal village in Mizoram.

The ravine is more than 200 meters deep.

All four people died on the spot, Mizoram police informed.
