Here are some ways to save money when drying clothes at home.

Brittany’s, a local clothing boutique, has opened at Conestoga Mall in Grand Island.

“We offer the latest in women’s fashion for all ages and carry sizes small up to 3XL,” according to a press release.

Brittany’s is located on the south side of the mall in the former CJ Banks location. The store opened on December 3.

Food and whiskey tasting took place in Brittany on Friday. The store partners with Moorefield-based Lazy RW Distillery, which makes its products from Nebraska corn.

Brittany’s is owned by Tri-Cities natives Brittany and Aaron Adams.

They moved the store to Grand Island from the Platte River Mall in North Platte, where they had been operating since September 2017.

“We have lived in North Platte for 11 years and after the company (Vanity) that Brittany worked for closed all of their stores, it was time to make a big decision,” the press release said. “Brittany, encouraged by Aaron and many former customers, decided to open her own store.”

Brittany designs all Lazy RW Distillery products and sells them in her store and online. “The whiskey…is available at many major retailers, including Hy-Vee, Wine Beer and Spirits and Pump & Pantry.

“We are committed to serving our community and partnering with other local businesses,” the release said. “We believe they are the foundation of a great, thriving community. None of this would be possible without the support of the community.”
