American Airlines increases flights between Dallas and Europe | Popgen Tech

American Airlines strengthens its transatlantic offerings from its Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) mega-hub to Europe for the 2023 summer season, which is operating in France and Italy. The airline will connect DFW to seven destinations in the Old Continent.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, American 47,348 weekly seats will be offered between Dallas (DFW) and Europe in July 2023, representing a 90.3% recovery in capacity compared to pre-pandemic levels.
France
From June 1 to September 5, American will increase the route between DFW and the French capital from 7 to 14 weekly operations. The airline recently operated twice daily flights Paris (CDG) of Texas in October 2019.

All services will operate Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with seating for 285 passengers in three classes (30 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/234 Economy).
Italy

From June 1 to September 5, the airline will increase its operations between Dallas (DFW) and Rome – Fiumicino (FCO) to two daily flights, doubling its offering compared to 2022 levels. Currently, American is the only carrier offering nonstop service between Texas and Italy.

- Flight AA 239 FCO 10am – DFW 2.50pm daily flights.
- Flight AA 289 FCO 13:45 – DFW 18:35 daily flights.
The services will be operated Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-8 with a capacity of 234 seats in three classes (20 Business Class/28 Premium Economy/186 Economy).
FCO service details
Effective 4 April 2023 AA 240/AA 239 flights will change equipment from Boeing 777-200ER on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
