Ethan Page Says “Lost Him” Is Marvel Films’ Latest Round | Popgen Tech
Ethan Page is not a fan of the latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The AEW star and member of The Firm discussed his lack of interest in the series in a recent interview with Marvelists, where he said he enjoyed Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings, but didn’t really feel for anything of other recently released films.
Said to have lost interest in Marvel’s current direction:
Maybe this is something I shouldn’t admit to a podcast called The Marvelists, but I kind of lost them and I don’t know if they’ll ever come back to me. I don’t know if I’m getting old or if they do the same thing too much and it starts to add up and I just lose interest, but I don’t know what stage we’re at. I don’t care what phase we’re in.
Despite his previous comments, he thought Shang-Chi was a standout:
So I thought the movie was fresh. Also, it had different fighting scenes and martial arts movie-style delivery, it was a standout to me,” said Page. “I love that movie. The scene where they fight on the bus is one in the greatest action scene in any movie I’ve ever seen. I really loved that, and how they played his whole family throughout the story arc and building to the end, I loved everything. It’s great. It’s a great movie .
