Swedish retail giant H&M has removed a line of Justin Bieber merchandise after the pop star warned fans to stay away from items bearing his name and image, saying the designs were “rubbish” and that he did not endorse the line.

An H&M representative denied Bieber’s claims in an email to Forbes on Monday, saying the company “followed the proper approval procedures” as it does with “all other licensed products and partnerships.”
