H&M has removed all of its Justin Bieber merchandise just two days after the singer accused the Swedish retailer of using his name and likeness without his “approval.”
Although representatives of the brand told E! News that they “followed due process of approval” ultimately decided to withdraw the compilation “out of respect” for the “Stay” artist.
On Monday, Bieber told his 270 million social media followers not to buy “junk” clothing after the brand printed his photos on sweatshirts and graphic bags. They also allegedly sold a phone case with the lyrics to his song “Ghost”.

“I did not approve [sic] any collection they put on H&M .. all without my permission or approval,” Bieber wrote on a blank orange screen on Instagram. “SMH I WOULDN’T BUY THIS IF I WAS YOU.”
The Grammy owner continued: “THE H&M MERCHANDISE THEY DID WITH ME IS TRASH AND I DON’T APPROVE IT, DON’T BUY IT.”
Bieber later doubled down on his claims in the comments section of a fan page that shared a photo of all the H&M merchandise, writing: “When everyone finds out I didn’t endorse this item 🤦♂️.”
While the 28-year-old has yet to come to terms with the brand’s decision to take off the clothes, this isn’t the first time H&M has taken inspiration from his music.
Back in 2020, the company released a collection dedicated to the singer’s fifth studio album “Changes”.
In fact, one of the sweatshirts featured the album cover, while the other featured a cartoon version of the “Baby” singer next to the record’s title.
