Saitual (Mizoram) [India]December 21 (ANI): With an aim to provide health services to remote border areas, Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp as part of its ‘Civic Action Programme’ at Mimbung village in Mizoram.
The medical camp was held by the Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the auspices of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East).

The medical camp (gynecology) was conducted by Dr. Ramakant Sharma, Gynecologist and Commandant (NFSG) Sandhyarani Nongmaithem, Chief Medical Officer, Assam Rifles Aizawl Battalion.
The team examined 267 women and provided the necessary medicines and medical advice for their ailments besides distributing medicines to other needy locals.
