Indices: Stock market update: Nifty Bank index falls 0.46% in weak market | Popgen Tech

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index traded negative around 10:50 AM(IST) on Thursday in a weak market.

Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 0.71 percent), Punjab National Bank (up 0.09 percent) and HDFC Bank (up 0.08 percent) were among the top gainers.

Bandhan Bank (down 4.75 percent), IDFCBANK (down 3.99 percent), IndusInd Bank (down 1.79 percent), Federal Bank (down 1.72 percent) and Axis Bank ( down 1.47 percent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Bank index was down 0.46 percent at 42421.95 at the time of writing this report.

The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 66.2 points at 18132.9, while the BSE Sensex was down 184.23 points at 60883.01.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 8 were trading in the green, while 42 were in the red.

The shares of , , PNB, IOB and UCO Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
