Lockjaw is a Pool 3 card in Marvel Snap which can lead to some fun games. In fact, using Lockjaw to put big threats into play ahead of schedule can be very enjoyable, and there are some decks that take full advantage of his powerful ability. This guide is here to detail some of those decks and help players start building with Lockjaw in Marvel Snap.

This deck seems to use Jubilee as a compliment to Lockjaw, as he also likes to play with a high density of big threats. While the specific threats selected for those high-end slots can vary based on the cards a player has access to, this deck skews slightly towards those with On Reveal effect on Marvel Snap. This is due to the fact that using Odin to get a second trigger from Jubilee can be a very powerful play, and Gamora or Doctor Doom can also be reactivated for big power swings on the last turn.

Instead of using Jubilee as an additional way to cheat big threats, this deck chooses to enlist the services of Hela. This change means moving away from the On Reveal effects featured in the previous deck and towards a discard strategy. Interestingly, players can also add Lockjaw to a more straightforward discard deck in Marvel Snapwith Apocalypse as the big payoff, if they don’t have access to Hela.

Unlike the previous two decks, this one doesn’t have a second way to play big cards without paying their energy cost. It has Marvel SnapThanos, however, whose Infinity Stones provide a consistent way to repeatedly trigger Lockjaw. Space Stone in particular is a great play in Lockjaw’s lane, as it allows the dog to move for more triggers in a new location.
Marvel Snap is available for mobile devices and PCs.
