PNB Rock Taps Underground Talent For ‘SoundCloud Daze’ Mixtape | Popgen Tech

After dropping his 2 Get You Thru The Rain EP in December, PnB Rock returned once again on Friday (January 28) to drop a collaborative mixtape titled SoundCloud Dazefeaturing up and coming SoundCloud talent PnB sought to highlight.

Created as a nod to the platform that launched PnB Rock’s career, the “High” crooner used his A&R talent to tap Pasto Flocco, Yung Fazo, TennisboyWiLL and IAYZE for the project.

“I know what it’s like to be trying to get your music out there and for me it’s easy to tap into the new wave and help them,” PnB Rock said of the mixtape in a press release. “Their music is also fiery so it’s a no-brainer for me.”

PnB Rock’s latest EP 2 Get You Thru The Rain dropped on December 8, 2021, and included features from Young Thug, Lil Baby and DJ Luke Nasty. The six-track EP was the first body of work from the “Egoista” singer since 2019. TrapStar Turnt PopStar. He has not appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 since that project dropped, and prior to the release of 2 Get You Thru The Rain had only appeared as a feature on 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star DDG’s Die 4 Respect album, he lends his talents to the Hitmaka-produced track “Get What You Want.”

The 30-year-old was also in the news last December for crashing his Rolls Royce. PnB was caught on video turning the car in his driveway when he hit the gas a bit too hard, causing a shock in what he claimed was a house. “If you can’t take a loss, you ain’t master fuckin some n-gga,” he captioned the video before the crash.

He then added, “I damn near knocked the whole fuckin house down,” followed by multiple laughing emojis.
