Moms know best! Caitlin Carter slams mom-shamer for criticizing her pregnancy style while expecting second child Christopher Brock.

34 years old Hills star shared a screenshot of a message she received from a social media user via her Instagram Story on Monday, December 19. “Get pregnant [sic] but why do you have to wear ill-fitting tops all the time,” asked the troll.

Carter made her response short and sweet, simply writing, “Oh Brianna,” alongside a grinning emoji.

The New Hampshire native announced in October that she and Brock, 37, had welcomed another child. “Girl 🤍,” the pregnant star captioned her Instagram. In the photo, she wore a bra and white pants, leaving her growing belly exposed.

Carter continued to give a glimpse of her progress throughout her pregnancy, sharing some cute photos with son Rowan, who she and Brock welcomed in September 2021. (Modelier also shares son Charlie, 8, with his ex-wife Laura Vassar.)

Earlier this month, the former MTV host gave a sweet tribute to her beau’s firstborn in honor of his birthday. “You’re the coolest kid I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and the only person who can make Rowan laugh uncontrollably. We love you!” Carter captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram, one of which featured her holding Rowan in a black cowboy hat. Her pregnant belly was accentuated by low-rise pants.

Shortly after giving birth to her first child, Carter responded to negative comments about her fashion choices. While celebrating New Year’s in Texas, the influencer shared a selection of stylish photos, showing off white shorts and a black velvet top with a plunging neckline.

“I’ve always read about women being criticized for their choices when they become mothers, but this is my first personal experience. During my time on Instagram, I wore several “revealing” outfits, and no one cares,” she captioned the post in January. “Suddenly NOW it’s so shocking! I am very sad that this is the world we live in. You’re expected to dress one way in pre-school and another way afterwards.’

Carter admitted that one of her “biggest fears” about parenthood was losing “who I used to be,” having children. “As it turns out, I’m pretty much the same (with the addition of someone new that I’m totally crazy about) and I’m so happy about that!” she wrote. “I’ve spent the last year struggling to fit into anything that wasn’t oversized or pregnant… I said to myself, ‘This is my body now and I can be ashamed and hide it, or I can do what I I WANT to do, and that means praise and celebrate everything that my body is now and what it was for me last year.” so I did what I wanted to do, and that’s something women should be encouraged to do ALL THE TIME.”

Before starting an affair with Brock, Carter dated Brody Jenner from 2013 to 2019. The couple had a wedding ceremony in Indonesia in 2018, but Us Weekly later confirmed that the wedding was not legally binding as the now exes had never obtained a marriage license in the US
