Rapper PnB Rock was shot and killed while dining at a popular restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday, September 12th.

The shooting was reported at 1:23 pm and Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles at 106 W. Manchester Ave., near Main Street, where the rapper was he is eating with a female friend when a man walks up. the couple, pulled a gun and demanded PnB Rock’s jewelry, according to police.

“The suspect shot the victim several times, removed the property and then left the scene in a pickup truck,” LAPD Captain Kelly Muniz told reporters.

Witnesses said the suspect and the victim argued during the shooting, which was caught on the restaurant’s video surveillance system.

The rapper was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Muniz said.

Born Rakim Hasheem Allen in Philadelphia, Pnb Rock, 30, was based in Los Angeles at the time of his death.

Police closed off Manchester Avenue in the vicinity of the shooting after the shooting and searched the immediate area for evidence and the tow truck.
