Sittwe Port connecting Myanmar-Mizoram prepared for operation: Minister Sarbananda Sonowal | Popgen Tech

The Sittwe port, which can join Paletwa metropolis within the Chin state of Myanmar with Mizoram, is developed and prepared for operation. The port, on the mouth of the Kaladan River, will present another path to India’s landlocked northeastern states.

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal mentioned, “Sittwe Port is developed and prepared for operation. This challenge is managed by the Union Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA). We have been additionally tasked with constructing infrastructure and dredging, which we did properly.”
