Token Shop is a new way to earn cards Marvel Snap. Previously, cards were unlocked in random order from a large pool, so players had to rely on pure luck to set up specific decks. Tokens allow for more targeted unlocking. Now, players at collection level 500 will start getting Tokens, 100 at a time, as random rewards from Collector’s Caches. These are spent in the Token Shop, with a single, rotating card on offer. This card can be “pinned”, preventing it from leaving the store if a player does not have enough tokens to purchase it. Death is the centerpiece of a Destroy deck, and is even stronger due to the recently added destruction-inducing locations. Mysticism and Sucker manwith their replication effects, can greatly reinforce existing strategies in a similar way as Wong. Mister Negative reverses the cost and attack of your entire deck, allowing for some unusual combinations. Ultron is the star of a Patriot or Ka-Zar deck with his swarm of cheap drones.

Cerebro’s The ability to power up your highest powered card becomes deadly if you can set the power of all your cards to be the same, giving them all “highest power.” Some other cards, such as Valkyriecan help make that easier.

Galactus‘ effect to destroy all other locations is powerful, but requires a decent amount of setup to work correctly. Knull is a recent release with great potential for Destroy decks, but time will tell if it’s better than other Destroy staples.

These cards are more suitable place. They can help support some deck archetypes, but not as a centerpiece. Only cost them if you are sure you will use them.

Agatha Harkness is a special case, because he plays the game instead of you. He is used not to win, but to quickly grind games to increase the Collector Level. He only earns Boosters for himself, but they can be used to grow the player’s collection. He also has some deck setups that make him practically usable!

SHIELD-aligned cards, such as Agent Coulson o Maria Hill, add random cards to the player’s hand as its effect. They’re decent for newer players who don’t have a huge collection, but they’re not reliable, and won’t set up the big combos you need to win serious games.

Despite being one of the game’s signature characters, Thanos very difficult to use properly. He adds Infinity Stones to the player’s deck and gets stronger if they are found.
