A naturist couple can’t wait to have a naked roast dinner, even if all their guests are fully clothed.

Helen Berryman and her husband Simon are looking forward to decorating their tree, opening presents and even cooking a turkey dinner.

The couple from Bromley, Kent, will be able to live out their magical fantasy even if they are joined for dinner by their mother Helen and their teenage daughter.

They said no one batted an eye at their table, despite the guests insisting that their clothes remain on.

Helen got to know Simon’s naturist lifestyle after they chatted on Facebook in 2015 and now loves never having to choose an outfit.

But only in 2020 did she gather the courage to join him.

Helen, who quit her job as an optician to write for a naturist magazine after embracing the clothes-free lifestyle, said: “We’re looking forward to another bare Christmas this year.

“Some people do look at us like we’re completely crazy, especially when they find out it’s Christmas, but we’re all about embracing your body and making everyone feel comfortable.

“My teenage daughter and my mum have fully embraced our lifestyle and now they really don’t think twice when we open the doors in all their glory.

“My daughter told me that I was acting strange at first, although now she is very supportive of me, although I don’t think she wants to be part of it.

“Some people have made unfriendly comments suggesting we’re swingers or sexualizing it, but we’re not.

“Most people haven’t set it up, but we have it working. We’ll exchange presents, go partying and raise glasses – a perfectly normal Christmas day, except Simon and I won’t be wearing any clothes except for our cracker hats.

“However, we have to turn on the heat.”

The couple decorated their Christmas tree while they were completely naked, holding on to pine needles, and cooked Christmas meals without their clothes on.

On Christmas morning, they plan to exchange gifts before welcoming guests to their home, including 75-year-old mum Helen and her teenage daughter.

When the couple first got together, Helen admitted that she found Simon’s penchant for nudity unusual.

She said: “When I first met Simon, he told me he preferred to live a lifestyle without clothes.

“I told him that was fine with me, but he had to wear clothes when he was around the house and I wanted no part of that.

“After a while, he started allowing himself to be ‘caught’ naked around the house – ‘forgetting’ that I would come home early and still walking around naked.

“I was more concerned about whether it would bother my daughter, but when I asked her she said it didn’t bother her at all.

“When I was fired in 2020 I realized that Simon was still working naked from home and then he started being naked in the garden in front of the neighbours. I was mortified, but then I realized they really didn’t care.

“Then I realized, if they don’t care, why should I?” “He asked if I would go to a painting scene where I would be a clothed model and all the artists would be naked.

– I reluctantly agreed and at first I didn’t know where to look.

“But afterwards, when I had a cup of tea with everyone, I was so relaxed and realized they were just a lovely, normal group of people.

“I also decided to take off my dress and surprisingly, nothing bad happened. No one was ill or condemned.

“I realized I had wasted 20 years of my life worrying about what people thought I should wear. Everyone has scars and stretch marks, it’s just nice not to have to worry about covering them up.

“It even helped my daughter develop a healthy attitude about body image. She thought it was amazing from the start and so did my mom.

“But once they saw how happy I was, they fully supported me.

“Now I can’t imagine spending Christmas in any other way than in our birthday suits!”
