Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers returns to the big screen in 2023 for the follow-up to 2019’s blockbuster smash-hit Captain Marveland this time Carol will share the spotlight next door Mrs. Marvel’s Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) and by WandaVision Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) in The miracles.
The team-up is set to hit theaters in July, and while we await the official marketing campaign star, Disney’s Brazilian branch has released a synopsis for the sequel that not only gives us some insight to the film’s plot, but also to whatever the hell was going on during Brie Larson’s post-credits cameo in Mrs. Marvel.
Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel reclaims her identity from the cruel Kree and takes revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But the unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When his duties lead him to an anomalous wormhole associated with a Kree revolutionary, his powers become entangled with the powers of Jersey City’s super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must come together and learn to work in concert to save the universe as ‘The Marvels.’

The miracles is directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman) and features a cast that includes Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Zawe Ashton as a mysterious villain.
Marvels is set to release on July 28, 2023.
